No. Developers currently manage .cursorrules files by copy-pasting between GitHub repos and Notion documents. There is no tool built specifically for the AI developer workflow. Herb Context is the feature that makes Herb irreplaceable. You set up your project context once — what you are building, your tech stack, your preferences, your current goals. Then whenever you open Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Windsurf, Herb automatically prepends this context to your first message. The AI instantly knows who you are and what you are working on. No API key needed. Works entirely in your browser using local storage.

When you use the template, Herb shows you an input field for each variable and a live preview that updates as you type. Copy to clipboard in one click. Cursor and Windsurf are desktop apps so Herb cannot auto-capture their sessions the same way it does for browser-based tools. However you can copy any conversation from Cursor or Windsurf, paste it into Herb via the popup Paste Session box, and it saves instantly. The rules library, prompt templates, Herb Context, projects dashboard, and community browser all work fully for Cursor and Windsurf users with no extra steps.
